The Duke of Gloucester formally opened the event with a short address to 22 Arab Ambassadors and a VIP audience, followed by a tour of the exhibition stands. This event featured more than 150 leading Gulf and European companies and hosted a comprehensive series of educational seminars to highlight investment opportunities in various sectors. Within the challenges of the current economic crisis, this trade event took the lead to facilitate trade and investment and helped forge thousands of new commercial relationship between EU and GCC businesses within the challenges of the current economic crisis. Because this event was one-of-a-kind, visitors and business delegations came from all around the world to network, trade and have one-to-one meetings that developed major business agreements.
